The businesses are paid $50 by goodGround Real Estate to host Dubdub, the company mascot, for one month and the children are given a $50 voucher to spend at the business. goodGround Real Estate also donates $50 to the Waipu, Ruakaka and One Tree Point schools every month.
All the businesses involved report that the kids really enjoy the competition and they love playing along with the kids – it’s lots of fun!!! They also say that the $50 voucher that the children win is great for business as it can bring the whole family in.
